Emily MacIntosh

Director of Knowledge

Emily serves as the Director of Knowledge with the CleanAI Initiative. Previously, Emily spent 11 years at MaRS Discovery District supporting technology startups, most recently as the Director of Advisory Services. Her extensive experience includes working with global organizations and contributing to market insight whitepapers and related events in the Life Sciences and Clean Technologies research areas. As part of her role, she leads CleanAI’s knowledge initiatives, producing comprehensive research reports, and developing high-value insights for members and stakeholders. Emily holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science (Biology) from Queen’s University. Emily serves as the Director of Knowledge with the CleanAI Initiative. Emily joins after spending 11 years at MaRS Discovery District supporting technology starups, most recently as the Director of Advisory Services. Her extensive experience includes establishing MaRS’ Benchmarking and Insights function, founding programs for scaling ventures, and delivering market intelligence to entrepreneurs throughout Canada. As part of her role, she leads CleanAI’s knowledge initiatives, producing comprehensive research reports, and developing high-value insights for members and stakeholders. Emily holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science (Biology) from Queen’s University.



