Niraj Dalmia

Niraj Dalmia is a Partner at Deloitte Canada and is the AI Strategy Market Offering Leader for Omnia AI (Deloitte Canada's Artificial Intelligence Practice). Niraj is also the global Generative AI leader for healthcare. Niraj's primary focus is the Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry with a passion for large-scale projects that bring meaningful impact. He has worked on a wide range of sectors and topics, including large-scale analytics transformations, AI strategies, analytics cloud platforms, generative AI models, and systems and agent-based simulation and optimization models. Niraj is also a sustainability champion with specializations in climate change, closed-loop supply chains, impact investing and design thinking, and an avid academic and writer. His publications include - "Case for sustainability in strategy and operations: Overcoming the challenges of product design in creating competitive advantages in circular supply chains", "Tactical analysis of the UN Climate Change Conference Negotiations", "Sustainability and the Ski Industry", "Critical analysis of Green Growth", "Sustainable Consumption and Degrowth concepts within Sustainability and Economic theories", "Use of Design Thinking within Consulting Firms, Is the Impact Investing industry unscalable?", "Why pay attention to Healthcare AI?", "Renault: Case in point in the automotive industry to decouple growth and resource exhaustion". Niraj holds an academic appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health; Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation; University of Toronto. He completed his MBA at Pembroke College, University of Oxford, Said Business School as a double Dean's List recipient, and his MSc at Massachusetts Institute of Technology receiving the perfect GPA award and the Sustainability Certificate. He is a Chartered Accountant (India). Niraj has been a guitarist with the Royal Conservatory of Music, has played with several bands, and takes much interest in picking up his guitar for a gig ever so often.


