Drew Thompson

Drew is AVP of Black & Veatch’s Technology Sector which focuses on Data Center / Mission Critical Clients facilities and their required infrastructure (substations, on-site power, industrial water, fiber, etc.) He has experience in client management, facility design, project management and real estate portfolio strategy. Some of Drew’s recent technology projects include onsite power alternatives, quick delivery data center modular data centers, global data center site due diligence and site design, data center infrastructure upgrades (substations, industrial water, onsite power alternatives including natural gas, nuclear, fuel cell, BESS, and hydrogen), crypto-mining facility design, as well as hyperscale data center buildings globally and sustainable infrastructure alternatives for the data center. Prior to joining Black & Veatch, Drew held a variety of strategy, planning, and operational leadership roles in corporate real estate at Sprint and Hallmark.
