In 2017, he founded Signol, serving as CEO to lead a groundbreaking initiative that reduced CO₂ emissions in aviation and shipping through personalised behavioural feedback for operators. In 2020, Dan co-founded Gentian, which uses high-resolution satellite imagery, advanced AI models, and computer vision to accurately map and monitor habitats at scale. This technology empowers governments, businesses, and conservation organisations to make data-driven decisions that protect biodiversity in the face of escalating environmental pressures.
