CleanAI Initiative Welcomes Emily MacIntosh as Director of Knowledge and Ankit Mishra as Director of Growth.

Toronto, June 5, 2025 – CleanAI Initiative, a leading platform at the forefront of exploring how artificial intelligence can accelerate thetransition to a clean economy, today announced two new leadership appointmentsto support its expanding mission. Emily MacIntosh has been named Director of Knowledge, and Ankit Mishra joins as Director of Growth. These strategic hires coincide with the CleanAI Initiative's expansion of its efforts to deliver high-value insights to paying members and the hosting of the 2nd CleanAI Summit in Toronto on October 8, 2025.

Emily joins after spending 11 years at MaRS Discovery District supporting technology startups, most recently as the Director of Advisory Services. Her extensive experience includes establishing MaRS’ Benchmarking and Insights function, founding programs for scaling ventures, and delivering market intelligence to entrepreneurs throughout Canada. As part ofher role, she will lead CleanAI’s knowledge initiatives, produce comprehensive research reports, and develop high-value insights for members and stakeholders. Additionally, she will play a key role in shaping content and discussions for the 2nd CleanAI Summit. Emily holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science (Biology) from Queen’s University.

Ankit assumes the role of Director of Growth, where he will work closely with the leadership team to drive membership expansion and build strategic partnerships to elevate CleanAI’s global visibility among innovators, investors, and policymakers. Ankit’s extensive leadership experience in high-growth tech startups, where he recently served as Senior Director of Strategy and Growth at Astreas, combined with his insights into economic growth, energy transition, and technology innovation as a Forbes Contributor positions him uniquely to guide CleanAI’s continued growth. Ankitis an EMBA candidate at Ivey Business School (Western University) and holds a master’s in international economics from Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from York University.
